Our PeopleR.F. Fisher Electrical Contractors
At R.F. Fisher, we take pride in the work we do, and without our wonderful employees, that wouldn’t be possible. Take a moment to meet our team. To learn more about the amazing people dedicated to providing the very best in electrical engineering.
Owner/PresidentMy father and grandfather before me had electrical companies, so in a way this is my destiny. I started to work in the business when I was 17 and put myself through college.
I like having my own company because, quite frankly, the buck stops here. I work to make things right for our customers as well as our employees. I am proud to say we are still working with the same group of customers as we did 17 years ago when the business was started. We have added to our customer base but through the years we have kept those old customers to the point that I can call them my friends. The same can be said of our employees. We have the ones we started with and a whole lot more today.
I am a water guy, so when I am not working I am down at the lake with my family and the same set of friends I have had for the last twenty years. I have the same philosophy for life and for business. Long-term relationships with people you can trust are what brings quality to a life and distinguishes a great business.
Vice President - Service Department
The best thing and worst thing about my job is change. Everyday is different. You may think you know what you’re going to do, but things can change in an instant. That is why you have got to be organized. I tell my scout troop, “Always tell the truth or DSIF. Don’t spit in the fan because it will come back on you.” DSIF is a good visual for a great lesson.
Purchasing ManagerBelieve it or not I used to race motorcycles professionally. Racing taught me that to be successful, you have to work. I like my job because I help my company and our customers get the best deal at the best price. There is a secret to that… are you ready? Treat people with respect. Hey, didn’t promise anything earth shattering!
Chief Financial Officer
There are three things you need to do my job. They are patience, patience and patience. Of course, being a good shot with a rifle helps too. That’s a joke, but I love to deer hunt. It’s quiet in the woods, and you can sit there and work things out in your head. Oh, and one other thing: I am the loud one in the room.
Project Manager / Estimator - Service Department
I am a project manager/estimator here at Fisher. I work with a lot of different people on a variety of projects. The best thing about my job is it is never the same. Everyday is a new challenge. I like hearing from happy customers, which is the only kind we have. My greatest life achievement has been putting myself through college on a division one swim team. I was a competitive swimmer for fourteen years. That experience taught me the rewards of hard work and dedication. I don’t swim now but I like to get up early and run. It clears my mind, keeps me in shape and fires my imagination. If I were a super hero I be She-Ra Princess of Power. What can I say; she is a princess, has power and wears a very hot looking pair of red boots. What’s not to like?
This may be a little strange, but I am an electrician who likes to play in water; although not at the same time! Really. I like to scuba dive. I have dived in local lakes and in oceans as far away as Japan. I believe that if you do your job right, the job will ultimately be easier. And I am a shutterbug. I love to take pictures.
Chief Operations OfficerMy job is to assure all aspects of the company are operating like a finely tuned machine. Assuring teamwork and proper execution of resources at all levels of our operations is my goal. I believe in teamwork both at home and in the workplace. You have never met a family that succeeded without teamwork, and that is what is special about our company. We all pull together!
Service TechSince I was 5 years old, I have been fixing things. I believe it is a God-given talent just like playing the piano. On the piano, a lot of people can hit the notes, but few can truly make music. When it comes to fixing things, I can make music. I can make sweet music with a steak and a hot grill too!
